Our story
From a Philadelphia hauler to a platform for circular operations.
Rego started as a tech-forward circular hauler.
Our journey began as a localized circular economy service to close the loop on bulk waste in Philadelphia. We custom-built AI to determine where to bring used furniture and construction supplies — using simple cell-phone photos of those items.
We built our own platform to scale circularity.
With backgrounds in product and code, we built tools for landfill diversion tracking and invoice automation that saved countless manual hours. From the first click, our software helped automate the steps involved in a typical waste diversion operation.
Today, our platform powers zero waste for any organization.
As our AI improved to identify all types of waste, we realized our tools could help other businesses scale and go circular. Now Rego makes it possible for any team — from schools to enterprises — to measure, divert, and report with confidence.

Brandon Castagna
Co-founder, CTO
Brandon is a lifelong software engineer passionate about modernizing antiquated systems. He was the first engineer at a fintech startup at 18 and helped scale it past 400 employees. He specializes in APIs, integrations, and system architecture.
